Silicon carbide ceramics have many excellent properties and are widely used in many fields. The preparation of silicon carbide ceramics is usually made by non-pressure sintering.
Non-pressure sintered silicon carbide process, non-pressure sintered silicon carbide manufacturer:
Non-pressure sintering has the characteristics of simple operation, low cost, complex shape and large size of silicon carbide parts, and relatively easy to realize industrial production, so non-pressure sintering is a promising sintering method in the preparation of silicon carbide ceramics. In this experiment, 1 m -sic with different particle size was added into -SIC powder. The sintering assistant was boron carbide, the binder was phenolic resin, and the protective atmosphere was argon. The sintering temperature was 2010℃, and the sintering time was 40min. The properties of sintered body are analyzed to determine -sic additive amount when sintered body has good properties. The experimental results show that the sintered mass has a high volume density up to 3.128g/cm3 when -SIC is added at 10wt%. The -SIC additive amount of jia was preliminarily determined to be 10wt%.
The cost determines that non-pressure sintering is difficult to replace reactive sintering, but the products produced by non-pressure sintering have smoother surface, higher density and higher strength than reactive sintering. According to the characteristics of non-pressure sintering, such as sealing parts, products with strict surface requirements and non-pressure sintering have replaced reactive sintering products.
The chemical composition is the same as that of carbon element and silicon element, and the chemical formula is SiC. Non-pressure sintered silicon carbide is a type of silicon carbide.
